For more than 21 years, Christer Gullstrand has played key roles in the creation of a variety of international roaming standards, including TAP, RAP, NRTRDE, RAEX, Roaming Hubbing and associated processes. Christer served as chair of GSMA TADIG (now IDS) between 2000 and 2012 and has chaired many other GSMA groups as well as the BEREC EU Regulation Billing & Provisioning group. Christer began his telecom career with Ericsson Radio Systems in 1986 and was a project manager for Telia Research before joining MACH and the world of mobile in 1994. As Senior Director Industry Relations for Syniverse, Christer was responsible for managing the company’s involvement in developing industry standards. He earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden.

- Chaired many GSMA groups, including TADIG for 12 years, responsible for the development and maintenance of TAP, RAP, NRTRDE, RAEX, Roaming Hubbing technical specifications and associated processes.
- Chaired the BEREC Billing & Provisioning group, responsible for the development of EU Roaming Regulation III technical specifications.
- Official author and editor of 25 GSMA Permanent Reference Documents, most of them key to the roaming industry.
